Creemore Springs Brewery

Location: 139 Mill Street, Creemore, Ontario

Creemore Springs Brewery is what the Village of Creemore is most known for.

In 1987 before craft beer was a “thing”, John Wiggins had a vision. Along with two of his friends, a brew master, and the Village of Creemore Mr. Wiggins began brewing in an old hardware store, right in the heart of the village.

As time passed, Creemore Springs Brewery became a legendary brew pub in this part of Ontario. Before long, it was known Province-wide, and visitors began flocking to Creemore to taste the beer. While the name and the town grew, the brewery continued to maintain its motto; “our small batch, big heart spirit, that we brew into every drop.”

The Old Mill House Pub

Location: 141 Mill Street, Creemore, Ontario

Established in 2010, The Old Mill House Pub has become a staple in Creemore, and a favourite among the locals.

After visiting for lunch on my way through Creemore, I understand why. The menu isn’t by any means exotic, however, this pub serves up the freshest, hottest, pub food I’ve ever had.

Visitors stopping in Creemore, will find an extensive menu at The Old Mill House Pub. From sandwiches, to burgers, to steaks, The Pub (as fondly named by the locals), has it all.

Bank Cafe

Location: 179 Mill Street, Creemore, Ontario

If you are wondering why stop in Creemore….the Bank Cafe is it! A friend of mine recommended that I visit the Bank Cafe on my way to Blue Mountain. She said they have the best carrot cake around.

I took my friends advice and I admit, this was the only reason we stopped in Creemore. I didn’t purchase the carrot cake as it was massive! I did purchase a box of carrot muffins to take with us to Blue Mountain. The lady in the shop assured me they were exactly the same as the cake. After one bight of the muffin, I absolutely have to agree with my friend. It was amazing!!!!
